The spring explosion of nature is proceeding at an ever-increasing pace, which is best seen on the surface of the park pond and its vicinity. Mallard ducks, although the most common, can also be interestingly photographed and interesting observations of their lives can be made. Namely, on the pond you can mainly see drakes. They swim, fly from place to place, but also fight. It looks very impressive. On the only islet, a pair of moorhens is bustling about, which is a kind of novelty in our park. Up until now, we have always had several pairs of coots living here and this time it is no different. A new guest has also appeared in the vicinity of the island – a little grebe. It is very brave, which can be seen when chasing competitors from its territory.
I still believe that it is worth visiting city parks and watching what is going on there, because you can make very interesting observations. There are many more animals there than many people think, you just have to stop and watch carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Technical Corner<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
It won’t come as a surprise if I write that I took the photos with a Sony a1 and a Sony FE 200-600 lens. The set works really fantastically and allows you to take photos of dynamic scenes like the ones below. Autofocus, although not 100% flawless, works well enough that when you have footage from the session, you have plenty to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
