May is a month that photographically reminds me of two themes – lilies of the valley and tree frogs mentioned in the title. These charming, intensely green frog-like amphibians are not frogs. Just as a roe deer is not a deer’s “wife”, a tree frog is not a frog (although it looks similar). I had the opportunity to meet them in several places, but spotting them is very difficult due to the use of mimicry. They can take a color from intense, deep green to a light pea shade and make them almost invisible against the background of spring leaves. That is why these photos have a special value for me, because taking them was not easy.
