The first long weekend in May passed this year under the sign of sunny weather, but it was quite chilly. In the forest, the place of anemones is already taken by violets, hare sorrel and chickweed. Small spiders and insects scurry in the undergrowth every now and then. However, what strikes me from the very moment I cross the threshold of the forest is the juicy, all-encompassing green of fresh leaves. I love this time of the year.
